The first spark of photographic interest for me was when I discovered my grandfather’s black and white negatives at a young age. At 14, my mother asked me what I wanted to be when I got older. “A photographer”. To which she replied “maybe we should get you a camera for Christmas.” I studied at the Maryland Institute, College of Art and graduated in 1994. I live in Baltimore Maryland with my wife and daughters Tilly and Josie who all indulge me becoming beautiful models when the gear comes out.
My work has taken me to Russia, Eastern Europe, Iceland, and across the states. Creative concentration is editorial, lifestyle and advertising campaigns. I enjoy being part of a creative process and turning concepts into visuals.
